Article I : Name
The name of this organization shall be the Business Club for Students of the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Article II : Purpose
The purpose of the organization shall be:
1. To give a choice to the students of
UAH to learn more about business
ownership, personal finances, and
success principles.
2. To give an access to meet with
successful business people.
3. To help the students find their
own motivation and inspiration, and
build them as future leaders.

Article III : Membership
Any student, either currently enrolled or enrolled in the previous semester at The University of Alabama in Huntsville may become a member of the Business Club for Students with voting and office-holding privileges. Each member of the Business Club for Students is allowed one vote. The club shall determine the standards for qualifications and the amount of dues to be paid, if any.

Article IV : Executive Officers
The executive officers of the Business Club for Students shall be
as follows: President, Vice-President,
Secretary, and Treasurer. The
aforementioned officers shall
constitute the Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee has the
right to create a position as needed.

Article V : Duties of Executive Officers
President, Vice President and Secretary are the only mendotary positions for the Business Club for Students.
President : To preside at Executive Committee meetings; appoint special committees with the approval of the Executive Board; present an annual report; perform other such duties as required by the by-laws or resolutions of the Executive Committee.
Vice President : To preside in President's absence and perform other such duties as may be required by the by-laws or resolutions of the Executive Committee. Plan and organize publicity for activities and special events.
Secretary :To attend all general correspondences of the organization, to keep minutes of all Executive Committee and other meetings and to preserve the records of the organization. He will also perform other such duties as may be required by the by-laws or resolutions of the Executive Committee.
Treasurer (Optional) -To supervise the financial administration of all revenue periodically to the Excutive Committee and membership on the financial condition of the organization, and perform other such duties as may be required by the by-laws or resolutions of the Excutive Committee.

Article VI : Elections
1. Election of officers shall take place yearly during the third week of June.
2. The Executive Committee shall
appoint a nominating committee
consisting of students, preferably
older members selected from the
membership; and the outgoing
chairman, ex-officio,shall serve as
President of the Committee. He may
also serve again if elected.
3. Any student member is eligible for
nominations as an officer of the
Executive Committee who; (i) meets
the college's eligibility for student
office holding which consists of a 2.0
average; and (ii) fulfills the
qualification as set up by the
Executive Committee.

Article VII : Amendments
Amendments to this Constitution may be proposed to the voting membership by majority vote of the Executive Committee or by petition signed by 10 or more membership. Amendments shall be declared during general meetings and shall be adopted when they receive a majority of favorable votes in the meeting.

Article VIII : By-Laws
By-laws, not consistent with this constitution, may be adopted
or amended by 2/3 vote of the regular
members present at any regular or
special meetings, providing the
by-laws are submitted in writing
at least one week previously at
either a regular or special meeting
of the general membership.
